They produce laser-quality black text and high-impact colour prints and the optional high-capacity (XL) black cartridge offers a reduced cost per page. Suitable for a number of officejet series printers, HP 901 ink cartridges are available as both original and compatible cartridges. There are two types of 901 black cartridge – standard capacity which contains 4ml of ink and is designed for moderate users. The other is the HP 901XL black which contains 14ml (20ml for compatible cartridge) and offers the high volume user a better cost per page ratio.
